I have a private room in my home that I’m looking to rent out. I live right near Southern High School.
This downstairs room is roughly 270 square feet. It has fresh paint, a brand new floor and 2 wardrobes for clothing. It has a window air conditioner and a space heater. This room has a ceiling fan. This room also has a private entrance if you choose to use it. The room can be accessed from the main house as well. It has a locking door between the room and the rest of the house in addition to the locking door that leads to the outside. This room rents for $450 per month.
There are 1 & 1/2 bathrooms that are shared with the downstairs room renter getting the shelf space in the downstairs half-bath.
Deposit is required. Rent includes water, sewer, trash, electric, gas, & wi-fi. No children and no pets. No exceptions. Rent is due on the 1st of the month payable by cash only.
Tenants will have use of the laundry facilities, kitchen, backyard, and front porch.

• Neat, clean, and tidy
• Mentally stable (medication use is fine)
• No smoking or drugs anywhere on the property
• Other adults in the house - # will depend on if there is 1 renter or 2 for these spaces, but there are 2 of us currently in the home
• New flooring in several rooms of the house
• You may not conduct any business from the house. This rental is residential only.
• You must be over 21
• You must be able to pass a criminal background check, a credit check, and an eviction check
• You must be able to show proof of income that supports payment of the rent. A solid income may allow me to overlook your credit and/or eviction history.
• Parking is on the street
