Vintage Ciocc Italian Steel Road Bike for sale in Durham, NC
This is my Ciocc, I personally built this at Bike Kitchen in SF maybe 11 years ago. I have loved it ever since. Its been across the country, even all the way to Tuscany with me. Alas, I had spine surgery last year and the ergonomics of it are just a little difficult for me now. I'm looking for the right owner to carry on its legacy, I definitely have a lasting connection to it. Price is negotiable for the right person. Full Campagnolo Centaur build, Modified to work with the period correct friction shifters. (It actually works really well with them, the action is super smooth) Mavic Askium Wheels New Brooks leather bar tape. Suede Selle San Marco Regal Saddle Nearly New Gatorskin 23c Tires Condtion is good. Its got little paint chips here and there and a little pitting on the fork chrome. Nothing very visible, you'd have to look for something wrong with it. I took good care of it, but I did use it. It rides beautifully, you can definitely feel the " steel" in the ride and the transfer of power is not slacking. Like I said, It needs a new owner to continue its legacy, Holler if you want to come see it.
