We've launched an exciting initiative in AWS to help plan for the right person in the right place at the right time, which involves modeling and planning our workforce by location, by job family, and by job level.
In this role you'll interface directly with the AWS business and work with a dedicated data science and a dev team to develop tools for modeling and optimization of the workforce.
This role doesn't require product experience or experience working with science/tech teams, but a willingness to learn and a determination to automate manual reporting.
Through optimal organization design and labor demand planning, this role will directly impact AWS end users and customers and help us continue to build a world-class cloud workforce.
Strategic priorities include 1) Cohesive location planning and strategy where location planning can improve talent attraction, customer engagement, and internal career pathing; 2) Optimizing the mix of early career/campus, industry, and internal talent pathways; 3) Optimizing workforce models that balance cost with customer and employee satisfaction.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
Enable decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format Translate data into actionable insights Identify areas of opportunity to automate and scale ad-hoc analyses Program management of activities related to location planning, early career talent/campus planning, and job family planning and optimization.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
