We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Durham, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).
Our client's Data Engineering and Exchange AI Delivery Chapter team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team to help deliver customer facing AI models into production.
This position is a dynamic Agile engineering position where you will partner with the team and peer data scientists to:
establish AI compute infrastructure and data pipelines and deploy AI/ Machine learning models via RESTful APIs.
You will need an inquisitive and consulting mindset, excellent SQL skills, strong experience in building and deploying data centric RESTful Java or python APIs and creating AWS based data pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Superior SQL skills and experience performing deep data analysis on multiple database platforms
- Work with data scientists and business sponsors to understand the business use cases that need to be solved and then conduct data analysis to find the right data sources for the project and conduct data analysis to profile needed tables
- Develop ETL workflows in AWS/Snowflake using Python to structure data for AI model training and development and to measure already deployed models.
- Develop data webservice APIs in Java or Python to feed into productionalized models.
Basic
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-years of hands on experience building Restful API's using Java or Python
- Minimum 2-years of hands on experience with AWS infrastructure (S3, CFTs, EC2), and data
- Minimum 2-years of hands on experience with and AI pipeline technologies (RDS/Postgres, Snowflake, Airflow, Elasticache) and/or practical experience with AI/ML models or their delivery in an AWS framework (e.g. Sagemaker)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
