Business Service Support Specialist

As a Business Service Support Specialist you will:
Provide technical advice to management officials and serve as principal advisor in real property and facilities management activities for NCHS/RTP. Coordinate all requests for new space and movement of personnel within existing space with appropriate management staff. Design space options and make recommendations concerning maximum utilization of existing space. Monitor all controlled access systems (e.g. key cards, ID badges, x-ray machine, metal detectors, mail screening, etc.). Analyze the requirements for supplies and services to meet the purchase, rental, or lease needs of the facility. Perform work in purchasing and or procurement of services, products, supplies, and/or equipment Manage the administrative property of the facility by performing property management duties such as the maintenance of records, conduct of periodic inventories, and/disposal of excess property. Coordinate the movement of material (vital records) flowing between government and vendors. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications for GS-7:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level of difficulty and responsibility in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph. Specialist
Experience:
Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position that include building operations, physical security, and personnel security. OR Have one full year of graduate level education, or superior academic achievement. OR Have a combination of graduate level education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. Minimum Qualifications for GS-9:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 level of difficulty and responsibility in the Federal service as defined in the next paragraph. Specialized
Experience:
Specialized experience is experience at or equivalent to which is directly related to the position which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position that include experience as an advisor on building operations, physical security, health and safety programs and/or space utilization, personnel security. OR Have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B., or J.D., if related. OR Have a combination of specialized experience and graduate education that together meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
