PROGRAM ANALYST (CLINICAL INFORMATICIST)

Duties include, but not limited to the following:
Ability to analyze processes/ systems in current use to ensure that objectives sought are accomplished efficiently and whether they sustain improvement. Use of a variety of process and analytic techniques, many of a complex nature. Knowledge of web portal technology in managing communities of users and implementation of self-service business models. Knowledge of VA and Federal contracting and IT policies, regulations and processes. Ability to write reports and briefing documents, communicate orally project status, findings and recommendations related to project activities. Plans, designs, and executes national health promotion/ disease prevention informatics-related projects and initiatives, including but not limited to the online patient Health Risk Assessment. Analyzes programs' operational, patient care and educational outcomes. Designs and manages large scale health informatics projects using technical knowledge of computers including databases, data manipulation tools, clinical information systems and hospital information systems and other VA-specific clinical information systems. Gathers and interprets considerable amount of information and data; identifying problems/ concerns; and, developing recommendations to resolve substantial problems relating to the effectiveness and efficiency of health promotion and disease prevention informatics-related programs. Plan, design and executes a national health promotion/ disease prevention informatics-related projects and initiatives, including but not limited to the online patient Health Risk Assessment. Participates in policy and planning deliberations and contributes to decision making. Make decisions about the appropriate allocation of time and effort to individual and collaborative projects with minimal supervision and to keep leadership informed should there be any issues or failure to execute according to established objectives and timelines Work Schedule:

Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-12 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

The work is primarily sedentary. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
