Duties Includes but not limited to the following:
Performs a full range of simple cooking items that require little or/no processing such as pancakes, sausage, eggs,hamburgers, fresh/canned vegetables. Prepares all forms of hot cereals; broils meats, prepares and cooks concentrated or dehydrated soups, sauces, gravies; makes cold sandwich fillings. Prepares pureed diet foods such as frozen hash browns, fish fillets and chicken nuggets. Prepares food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring, or breading; weighs, measures, and assembles ingredients for regular and modified menu items. Sets up and replenishes tray line, portions foods for distribution and meal service; and covers, dates, and stores left overs according to established procedures. Operates a variety of kitchen equipment which utilizes gas, electricity, steam or microwave heat sources. Disassembles and assembles component parts and accessories for cleaning and follows safety procedures regarding the operation of equipment to avoid personal injury or damage to the equipment. Uses, cleans, maintains and stores a variety of cooking utensils required to measure, weigh, and process food items. Follows established sanitation procedures when handling food and ensures that foods are stored at the correct temperatures to prevent bacteria growth. Maintains accurate food inventories and rotates stock items to prevent spoilage. Relief for other food service positions on a rotating basis if deemed necessary by production requirements. Receive and store chilled food prepared by cooks from the blast chiller according to HACCP guidelines. Maintain the Food Bank by rotating cooked food properly using the first in/first out methodology. Reads and understands written recipes/food service material and knowledge of special and modified diets. Prepares and follows tally guides, standing orders, nourishment labels, recipe lists and other information to assist in meal preparation and in meal delivery. Covers and dates food. Work Schedule:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
