Major Account Manager needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Durham, NC (RTP).
The Big Picture:
- The Major Account Manager will plan and execute strategic and tactical plans to achieve the sales objectives assigned to them.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop new business accounts within the USA and globally working in partnership with the Global Corporate Accounts Team
- Sustain and grow the usage of the company's products and services within their account base
- Support the marketing efforts of the company through attendance at company and industry events
- Maintain and expand their industry and product knowledge so to be relevant and beneficial to our clients and prospects
- Identify new product opportunities for growth areas and communicate these clearly both internally and externally
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum of two to five (2-5) years of experience in selling into Corporate or LE market
- The Major Account Manager must possess a high degree of creativity, organizational and process development skills and have a proven track record with presenting to Senior Management.
- A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible follow-up and cold calling in to multiple levels within an organization
- Experience selling to technical staff and C level executives
- Familiarity with solution selling techniques
- Positive and energetic, credible business meeting skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- Ambition to grow within company and be a team player
- Background in leading high-tech companies
- Passion for innovation and technology
- This position requires the ability to analyze current environments, create a compelling business solution, complete with detailed financial analysis, present the findings and propose specific technology recommendations to improve current business processes.
Preferable Knowledge within the following areas
- Business Telephony
- Voice or Data Connections and services
- VoIP
- Hosted Services
- Unified Communications
