In this position, the selected incumbent will support the Supply for Growth program management team in developing and implementing state of the art supply chain processes into the Seeds Supply organization. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for:
Identifying a specific supply chain topic that is relevant to the scope of the project, with which they are passionate about and have an educational knowledge base to contribute;
Developing a work plan with which they will research the issue, develop a recommendation and then present the topic. The presentation should include a feasible action plan with which to implement and an analysis of risks and benefits;
Contributing to team meetings and collaborate with colleague as necessary;
Asking relevant questions to facilitate his/her personal development, but also to challenge the team's current planning assumptions;
Creating create a one page report near the end of the internship reflecting upon the success of the internship and their personal development. The successful candidate must be eager to work with dynamic people and contribute to a changing environment. Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE (Leadership, Integrity, Flexibility, Efficiency) values. More specifically related to this position, we are seeking candidates who:
Are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business, preferably with a focus in Supply Chain;
Have the ability to establish effective relationships;
Possess excellent communication, listening, and team skills;
Have the ability to analyze and interpret information accurately;
Have good planning and organizational skills;
Have demonstrated experience in achieving results by working in a team environment;
Have demonstrated leadership skills through involvement in extracurricular or community activities;
Have demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a variety of functions and with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures;
