Location :-Durham, NC
Dration:-6 +months
Translating business requirements provided from project System Analysts into detailed technical deliverables
Creation of ETL & Database project-level technical designs & documentation based on team/Fidelity best practices & standards
Assisting Project Managers with estimation and project plan creation
Assisting with data modeling activities
Coordinating with other technical teams such as DBA and source systems as needed
Represent project deliverables with platform team
Lead performance evaluations and tuning activities
Perform code reviews of project ETL deliverables
Manage/coordinate project ETL code migrations
Assist with managing to agreed timelines
Acting as a point of technical escalation and resolution for database & ETL topics during the project lifecycle
Assist the Quality Assurance group with the creation and executing of test cases
Technical / Other Requirements
Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica and general ETL development
In-depth experience with Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing concepts and modeling
Prior Experience with providing technical leadership, preferably across geographic disparate locations
Experience with large scale database implementations and data sets
Strong experience in end to end performance identification and tuning
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle database scripting
Experience with general Agile and Waterfall-based development methodologies
Interpersonal skills: work closely with various inter-related groups & team members.
Excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
Proficient in technical problem solving.
Self-starter with ability to take initiative to achieve goals and meet deadlines with minimal direction
Ability to communicate with business and technical audiences in both verbal and written formats
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
Ability to adapt to frequent change
