Technical Education Specialist - Aveda - Minnesota / Wisconsin

  • Achieve company color sales objectives through education of stylists/colorists in salons. Promote and sell professional education and support marketing calendar with in-salon events.
  • Implement and support regional and local education events as scheduled
  • Recruit, develop and retain certified educators
  • Mentor certified educators as required
  • Launch and implement domain specific sales initiatives
  • Deliver regular technical and domain specific trainings according to schedule based on Regional growth strategy
  • Conduct in-salon events and trainings motivating stylists through inspirational education
  • Attend regional skill building training monthly with quarterly trainings in Minneapolis
  • Provide technical orientation to new color salons based on new color account template of Support
  • Track and monitor progress in achieving regional growth objectives as defined by team Leaders
  • Accountable for delivering all courses to a minimum established standard of competency
  • Complete all training to a minimum standard of competency assessed through product
  • Knowledge tests, performance of technical applications and presentation of domain specific Product information
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to understand financial and sales reports.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to work as business dictates; including some nights and weekends.
  • Extensive travel.
  • Must possess a valid driver s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to lift over 30 lbs. Ability to transport own luggage when necessary.
  • Maintain current Cosmetology or Esthiology license.
  • Ability to master Aveda color applications
  • Ability to meet or exceed quarterly sales goals.

Anticipated Base Salary Range $68,000.00 - $102,000.00 (Depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget).
