Modern office setting Growth opportunities The role of the Patient Care Coordinator is to schedule patient appointments and assist with all necessary steps to ensure patient satisfaction.
The roles involves greeting patients and guests and maintaining a highly-professional and hospitable environment in the office at all times.
The patient care coordinator should ensure that each and every patient is treated warmly and with the best possible customer service and has the optimal patient experience at each visit.
Driving year-over-year self-sustainment through clinic operations and consistent CE courses Use Local Start's best practices, resources, tools, CE courses, and financial options to assist patients in making the best possible decision for their unique wants and needs.
Verify patient fees, Medicaid/VA benefits, CE course and pro-bono eligibility for patients.
Properly use Dentrix software to maintain accuracy in patient records.
Consistently document the result of patient consultations, schedule future appointments, collect payments, and follow up with patients on outstanding treatment plans or balances.
Help students find appropriate solutions in order to complete their needed treatment.
Consistently market to the local community to increase patient flow through business-to-business marketing and local community events.
Identify and implement operational best practices in partnership with the Front Office Supervisor, Clinical Director, and Executive Director.
Keep the supervisor informed of current tasks, progress, and support needed.
Maintain an appropriate professional appearance in line with company policies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
Main a professional and respectful attitude at all times.
Report weekly to the Front Office Supervisor detailing accomplishments, areas for improvement, goals, and effectiveness of systems.
Participate in morning huddles, team meetings, and any additional needed meetings as scheduled.
Marketing to the local community members and dental professionals Keep commitments, and keep director supervisors informed of work progress timetables, and issues Maintains an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies; addresses others professionally and respectfully Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
Report weekly to the Front Office Supervisor detailing accomplishments, areas for improvement, clear performance goals, and effectiveness of systems.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Dental experience is preferred, but not required.
