Vice President, Developer Experience Engineering

Vice President, Developer Experience Engineering The Role Fidelity Investments is seeking a Vice President, Developer Experience Engineering to join our team working as an individual contributing engineer working with the Developer Experience Product Area Leader to assist in driving the development and delivery of tools, processes, and documentation that improve the developer experience.
In this role you will be:
Utilizing your expertise and passion for improving the tools, solutions and processes required by our developers.
Actively sharing insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments, in developer/builder experience.
Producing standard engineering patterns, components and plugins that can be broadly leveraged.
Providing impactful passion to the continuing enhancement of our developer experience by improvement of our engineering capabilities with a focus on excellence effectiveness.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring Computer Science or Software Engineering degree preferred.

years of engineering/development experience.
Experienced tool builder.
Knowledge of Development Environments and IDE plugins Cloud Native Engineering, DevSecOps and Cloud implementation experience preferred.
Experience with multiple programming languages and development approaches Knowledge of and experience with current engineering tools and approaches Ability to be hands on and build working example solutions.
Proven experience coaching, mentoring, and developing people and teams.
Ability to work as an individual contributor and as a member of a small team.
Full stack, full lifecycle, hands on senior engineer.
A strong technical problem solver Passionate about engineering craft, engineering experience and effectiveness and a culture of engineering excellence.
Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills with which you influence decisions and engage across Fidelity and at all levels of the organization.

The Initiative's research and analysis provided a rich source of material identifying roadblocks and friction areas that we are addressing through transformative changes to governance, standards, transparency, discoverability, stakeholder input and continuous feedback.
You will work in partnership with leaders aligned to Enterprise Technology Software Engineering chapter areas and Architecture.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
