This full-time position is for someone who enjoys providing high quality customer service by assessing customers' needs, remaining knowledgeable on products, and working in a team environment.
The right candidate will have the ability to process orders and provide support to the customer service team when needed.
This position offers a competitive hourly wage depending on qualifications and experience, and a full benefits program with PTO and paid holidays.
Primary Responsibilities Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions Process POS (point of sale) purchases and refunds Direct customers to the appropriate salesperson Answer incoming customer phone calls and assist them over the phone Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service Assess customers' needs and provide general assistance Remain knowledgeable on products offered Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service Build productive trust relationships with customers Operate with FORTITUDE:

Minimum Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Retail Associate & Cashier experience 1 year (preferred) POS experience 1 year Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices Proficiency in English Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking is a plus Basic Math skills Solid communication and interpersonal skills A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus Computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel Must be 18 years of age Work Environment:
This position works in a retail storefront that sells landscape materials to contractors and homeowners.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time Schedule:
Day shift 40 hours per week including Saturdays Full Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, and Paid Time Off.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
