Ongoing Handyman Position for Private Residence / Art Studio in Durham NC

We now need to find a replacement who is knowledgeable and preferably has experience in broad construction areas, ie plumbing, electrical, framing, drywall, etc.
and is therefore, comfortable with any number of projects.
The ideal candidate will have a hands-on ability to easily handle many tasks and will be able to tap into their network to find folks who can help with jobs that require more expertise, le HVAC, tile installation, etc.
Outside of everyday home maintenance and repairs, a candidate should be comfortable with the research, planning and project management associated with new projects as well.
The person who helped us previously established his own schedule.
(Someone who is semi-retired from construction or handyman work, looking for some extra income would be ideal.
) The former person who helped us generally worked M-F anytime 11am-4pm that worked for him and this was great for us as well.
On average, he worked 8-12 hours per week.
There was always a running list of things to do, so he worked very independently, coming and going however he liked.
For example, if he knew he wanted to complete 3 things in a week, he would assess everything, buy supplies and complete the work.
He would include the cost of materials with his labor.
I am looking for help because my husband is a good bit older than me and has never had interest or skills in helping with home maintenance.
I am comfortable with many things and do as much as I can on my own.
But I'm also busy with middle and high school kids, I run a non-profit and I am an artist, so it's difficult to find time to do the many things that our home requires.
I would be ecstatic to find someone who (1) is committed to quality work, (2) values jobs done right vs jobs done fast, (3) would be excited to work independently, (4) values flexible hours, (5) has a broad knowledge of all things construction, (6) likes the idea of partnering on ongoing projects in a place they can come to know well, (7) likes researching things they're unsure about so that we have good plans in place and (8) takes pride in the work they do.
