The Opportunity Description We're looking for a Software Engineer, working in Financial Services industry in Durham, North Carolina, United States.

Experience Required for Your Success Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics (or equivalent).
5-8 years of proven experience.
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Node JS, and/or Java/JEE-based web applications in a fast-paced Scrum environment.
Experience in designing and developing front-end solutions using JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools, and experience in modern SPA frameworks like Angular, React, and Vue.
Experience designing and implementing continuous JS environments using Webpack, mono-repo architecture, Grunt, Gulp, and effectively employing DevOps, Automated Testing (using Cypress, Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor), and Continuous Integration and Delivery using technology such as Groovy, Jenkins.
Experience with containerization, Docker, and orchestration and exposure to AWS.
Knowledge of asynchrony (Promises, Observers, Event loops, Web workers), HTTP-based interactions, REST, Networking, and how the internet works.
Hands-on experience working with package management using Node.
js, NPM, Express.
Proven expertise and mentality of employing Automation for Development, Testing (unit and integration) & Deployment.
Appetite for learning new skills, chipping in to process-improvement initiatives in an effort to maximize velocity for the product team and is curious about constant learning.
