We have a warehouse in East Durham and deliver between the triangle and Asheville.
Delivery Driver & Warehouse Support Non-CDL position 2-3 days/week.
500-600 miles drive time Essential Duties and Responsibilities Loading up--works with the operations team to pull orders, double check pulls and load the van.
Ideally delivery would begin no later than 9 AM, and sometimes earlier for long distance deliveries.
Deliveries--execute logical delivery routes across North Carolina.
Carry out speedy, accurate, friendly, customer-centric transport of our fragile goods into stores and restaurants.
Communicate any delivery changes or issues to the operations coordinator.
Customer communication--pass clear, timely information between customers and reps/admin as needed.
Vehicle maintenance--arranges repairs or maintenance, such as oil changes, on company vans.
Warehouse--maintains a clean and organized warehouse space.
Assists in the unloading of containers, checking in wine, and moving inventory.
Computer Skills Basic computer skills required.
Uses electronic devices to accurately and consistently record route data.
Qualifications Must maintain an active applicable state driver's license.
Warehouse work, pulling orders and deliveries require the employee to lift 40 pound boxes of wine on a regular basis.
