The Role Nutanix is looking for a strategic Director of Global People Development (G P D) who will drive and continue to evolve the learning and development strategy for our global employee, manager , and leader base.
Must have a vision for adult contemporary learning that supports a culture of continuous growth, development, and curiosity.
This key leadership position will be responsible for designing and executing enterprise-wide programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and overall performance, thereby reinforcing a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Key R esponsibilities:
Work with the leadership teams and HR Leaders to d evelop and implement a forward-thinking learning and development strategy aligned with the company's strategic goals and vision.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify leadership development needs and design programs to nurture and grow our next generation of leaders.
Champion a culture of mentorship, coaching, and feedback to encourage continuous development at all levels.
Identify creative synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences to enhance skillsets and create opportunities for connection across the global workforce.
Manage all aspects of budgeting, planning, and executing on global training programs, in coordination with GPD team members.
Regularly collect feedback, drawing insights to share with leadership to drive continuous improvement of global learning and development strategy and approach.
Maintain strong relationships with functional leaders and business subject matter experts, ensuring strong collaboration for rapid design.
Partner with the People Leadership Team to provide talent-driven learning solutions that develop capabilities to fill existing talent and performance gaps.
Measure and evaluate development programs to understand the effectiveness and impact on the learning and provide recommendations for change.
Develop and lead a team of high performing Learning and Development professionals.
General Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 10 years of total work experience with at least 3
years in a senior learning & development role at a global enterprise tech company.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Demonstrated expertise and success in developing and implementing global leadership development programs.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Proficient in learning management systems and other learning technologies.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure program effectiveness.
Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, mentor, and motivate a team of learning and development professionals.
Able to flex working schedule to accommodate global demand and a willingness to travel.
#LI-Durham #LI-Raleigh The OTE pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $209,200 and $313,800/year; however, pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
