As the Application Systems Analyst, your primary focus will be providing system analysis for a Healthcare customer-facing Mobile/Web Application.
You will spend the majority of your day running JAD sessions, gathering technical details to create technical diagrams, dependency diagrams, data flow diagrams, Impact documents, and Gap Analyses that will help the development team enhance and improve a customer web portal.
You will work with a team of developers and business analysts to ensure the smooth functioning of the mobile application and its integration with various systems.
Job Requirements:
Experience with digital (web or mobile) projects.
Familiarity with modern web and mobile applications and system environments to understand the implications of issues within web-based applications.
Experience participating in JAD sessions to elicit and gather technical details to create and produce technical diagrams and written summaries of the analysis, including dependency diagrams, impact documents, gap analysis, and business information summaries Serve as an industry expert on software development tools/applications in areas and has had experience with analyzing, coordinating installation, development, and management of applications including JS, HTML, Javascript, and Java.
Analyze existing systems for documenting as-is system analysis and make recommendations too future designs.
Analyze project requirements and impact on product.
Analyze code, service contracts, data, and architecture.
Work with teams to answer analysis-related questions.
Sit on project meetings; listen to business requirements; determine how customer needs contrast to current product and determine what is the gap between what is available and what is customer need.
Required Technical Skills:
Upwards of 7-10 years of experience working in Systems Analysis Familiarity with modern web and mobile application designs and concepts.
Be able to analyze project requirements and contrast them with the current product Great working with people Effective written communication Excellent verbal communication Understand code, technical diagrams, and data analysis (deal breaker if candidates are not good at diagramming) Self-sustainable; independent Required Soft Skills:
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of developers, managers, executives, and subject matter experts.
Excellent organizational, research, and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills.
Excellent influencing and consultative skills, including the ability to get results through others without having direct reports.
Preferred Skills:
Prior Healthcare Payer experience preferred.
