Summary:
The Landscape Operations Manager will serve as a client liaison to the company through outstanding service, ensuring that clients' needs are met, and the relationship will continue, creating high customer retention, while helping the division achieve its revenue goals.
The candidate in this role must also be able to manage job sites, personnel/crews, and equipment.
Essential Function:
? Develop long-term relationships and communicate on a regular basis with key clients ? Inspect key client properties to monitor performance and overall job quality ? Ensure existing accounts are renewed each year ? Coordinate and manage client service teams ? Develop annual budgets ? Ensure billing is completed in a timely and accurate manner ? Ensure all contracts are executed correctly ? Ensure proper use and care of all department assets ? Identify staffing needs ? Monitor safety record and implement methods to improve safe workplace practices ? Implement and enforce policies and procedures as issued by us.
? Understand and accurately estimate jobs ? Ensure proper paperwork is completed for all employee changes.
? Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plan(s) for employees ? Achieves grounds management operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews ? Prepares and completes action plans; implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolves problems; completes audits; identifies trends and determines system improvements ? Work at a fast pace environment while operating with a high sense of urgency ? Must uphold company policies, procedures and company core values at all times ? The Landscape Operations Leader manages all account managers, operations managers, foreman and laborers of all departments and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment; however, long periods of driving, walking and inspecting job sites are to be expected.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some projects may require more out-of-the-area and overnight travel Other Duties:
