Computer Hardware Technician

Inova Staffing is currently hiring a Computer Hardware Technician for a Tech Warehouse located in the Durham, NC area.
The ideal candidate has personal or professional experience troubleshooting and/or repairing computers.
Attention to detail and solution-oriented thinking are necessary skill sets.
The Company provides industry-leading support to the world's largest corporations and electronics retailers.
Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with hardware Repair or update hardware Take stock and inventory of hardware and parts Troubleshoot different varieties of hardware (consoles, PCs, Macs, tablets, etc.
) Sort cables, quality assurance Job Requirements Attention to detail A basic understanding of computer components (RAM, Hard drives, etc.
) Experience with board-level repair and soldering preferred.
A desire to solve problems in a time-efficient manner Ability to stand and move in a single area for the entire shift.
Lift up to 35 lbs.
Candidates must have reliable transportation.
Candidates must be able to pass a background and drug screen.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
