Job Description:
The RoleThe Forge Team, within Fidelity Institutional Product Business Enablement Technology (FIPBET), is seeking a Senior Salesforce technology engineer! This role requires an upbeat self-starter who can champion collaboration and cultivate a close partnership with marketing and the development teams to craft and implement solutions on the Salesforce platform.
The TeamFidelity is the corporate sponsor for The Forge Community, which is the largest single-family office community run by and for its members.
The Forge development team at Fidelity designs, builds, and supports an outstanding Client Relationship Management solution used by the Community.
This team is an innovative, diverse, and hardworking group, who use an Agile approach and principles to deliver solutions that provide tailored engagement experiences.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring Engineering Expertise:
Bachelors in computer science or related major with 5
years of CRM development experienceOrMasters in computer science or related major with 4
years of salesforce CRM Development.
Certified Salesforce Administrator and Certified Salesforce Developer Experience with Salesforce Communities/ Experience cloud or Marketing Cloud is preferred.
Experience with Salesforce APIs, Apex Triggers, Classes, Callouts, SOQL, Workflow Rules, Approvals, Visual Flow, Process Builder and Platform events.
Experience with Application build and deploy using Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools - Flosum, Jenkins.
Experience of Salesforce.
com administration and end user security requirements Experience crafting Lightning Apps combining Lightning Design System, Lightning App Builder and Lightning Web Component features.
Knowledgeable in standard functions/ modules of Salesforce.
com:
Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud Solid understanding of Salesforce design principles, technically scalable data modeling, Governor limits, Force.
com development standard methodologies.
Knowledge of RESTful API and micro services development along with Salesforce API integration Demonstrated experience of full Software Development Life Cycle, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development.
Knowledge on Content Management System platform (CMS) such as Sitecore, Documentum, etc is a plus.
Engineering Leadership:
Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth, to learn and to engage with peers in technical and design discussions.
Experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners.
Ability to utilize a long-term mentality to help produce scalable, maintainable solutions.
Passion to provide mentoring support on development standards to other developers within the wider FIPBET team.
Specialist in understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Flosum, Copado, etc.
Education and CertificationsBachelors in computer science or related major with 6
years of CRM development experienceOrMasters in computer science or related major with 4
years of salesforce CRM Development.
