Our quality cow's milk cheeses are in high demand by wineries, restaurants, event businesses, hotels, specialty shops and grocers.
This position operates within a given territory to identify these potential customers, sell them cheese, and follow through on each order by coordinating the delivery of product to each account.
Sales to these businesses are close, long term relationships, with orders repeating weekly, bimonthly, or monthly.
An ideal candidate will develop and utilize skills like cold calling customers to arrange face-to-face meetings or stopping in, presenting customers with products and educating them on features, closing the deal, and reporting sales progress to leadership.
The most successful candidates invest in developing and maintaining long term, stable relationships with customers and by offering the best possible customer experience.
After each sale is made, a candidate is expected to service each account with product delivery as a member of our distribution team.
This position in commission based and can be part or full time.
Part time applicants are required to have a minimum of three days each week available to dedicate to sales and/or distribution.
Commission is calculated as a flat percentage of the number of units sold and delivered.
Commission accumulates over time as orders repeat from continuously serviced accounts within a territory.
Each candidate must be able to operate independently with their own vehicle, phone and/or computer.
