Application Systems Analyst II
The Application Systems Analyst II plans and executes application builds, software deployment and in-lab hardware implementation for laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and will assist the Business Intelligence Manager with the creation and maintenance of interactive visual dashboards.
Coordinate design, implementation and maintenance of databases, data marts, data warehouses and business intelligence dashboards and reports to include executive leadership, financial, human resource, facilities, project management and operational record databases.
Perform encoding, testing, and debugging, as necessary to meet project specific goals Assist with the analysis of requirements, design, document, and test new applications as well as maintain and support existing applications.
Lead the project implementation and testing of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and workflow management systems.
Manage the release and update process of the application which includes effective end-user communication.
Document change management details in ServiceNow.
Experience in the implementation and operation of a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS), Electronic Laboratory Notebook, LIMS installation in an Academic infrastructure.
Functional knowledge working in a GMP environment and general lab environment.
Experience with PowerShell scripting.
AWS/Azure knowledge and/or certification.
Experience with Process mapping/design software (such as Visio).
Knowledge of BI and analytics, and experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders.
SQL / TSQL (Queries, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
2 years' experience in developing visualization dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
