Job Description:
As a member of the Health & Welfare (HW) Technology team, you will play a significant role in devising and executing Fidelity's Health solutions capabilities.
You will be working with our business partners to build HW technology solutions to support Health Welfare strategic existing client base, while leading and developing a team in the creation and delivery of technology solutions.
This position is based in Durham, North Carolina.
The Expertise We Are Looking For 15

years of Technology and people Leadership experience Experience with a variety of development platforms, technologies and languages, including Java /J2EE technologies Familiar with various design and architectural patterns and their application Champions best practices for various aspects of engineering excellence like CICD, design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, test automation across technology stack Expertise in working closely with business and technology partners to establish both strategic direction and tactical execution plans, and turning these plans into action Demonstrated mastery of application development techniques and high-quality deliverables Exposure to emerging technologies like AI/ML, Data analytics will be an advantage The Purpose of Your Role You are responsible for overseeing the development and continuing education of our technology associates.
You will assess talent and ensure we have a motivated, passionate team.
Working with technology and business partners, you will deliver high quality products for the Health & Welfare business, including client implementations & enhancements.
You take the lead and guide project teams in delivering design, development and deployment of applications to reflect current industry standards and directions.
The Skills You Bring Experience in successfully leading and managing in an environment undergoing change, and with an evolving business strategy Experience with agile as a development methodology A competency in diverse management practices and bringing out the best in people An ability to solve complex, multi-dimensional business problems An ability to drive change in a creative and collaborative manner with business partners and technical partners, including our offshore development teams A willingness and ability to work in a hands-on manner and get into the details A strong and constant commitment to technical learning An ability to problem-solve, and provide technical troubleshooting direction, driving resolution An ability to staff the team through multiple resourcing strategies, and manage the performance management activities for your team members The Value You Deliver As a chapter leader, you will be responsible for careers of associates reporting into you and contribute to the chapter goals You will collaborate with other leads in the project to translate business and architecture roadmap into software modules Pro-active consulting in the definition phase about the non-functional requirements and its financial implications.
Provide technology alternatives to business problems and clearly explain the advantages, problems and side-effects of alternatives.
Ensure operability of technical architecture by partnering with the Enterprise Architects, project teams and taking responsibility for the technical design dispensations Manage technology obsolescence of the product and aligning to enterprise directives.
Identifying opportunities to bring emerging technologies/solutions to deliver innovative solutions to meet business objectives.
Leveraging an in-depth understanding of the business to propose and deliver solutions to increase client satisfaction around their Health & Welfare experience Developing and maintaining a high performing, highly engaged global workforce Proposing and delivering strategic efficiency and scale technology solutions Making authoritative decisions over technical issues, project policies, standards, and strategies Maintaining an atmosphere of collaboration, openness and approachability every day Please see below for the salary range for work locations in Colorado only:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
