The Procurement Analyst will play a pivotal role in the Supply Chain function by leveraging data, information, and available tools to gain insight into purchase ordering process, drive fact-based decisions, and communicate opportunities for sustained improvement of purchase order management.
The candidate will focus on data accuracy and execution of purchase orders, invoice discrepancy investigation to resolution, and finally assessing options and making recommendations for improvement.
The Procurement Analyst is responsible for execution of assigned purchases and order management of all purchases for Supply Chain.
This role must provide support to the Planning department with data entry, issuing POs, and PO maintenance.
They work closely with business partners ensuring on time delivery to meet the material and planning needs for the production schedule.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Manage and modify open order report spreadsheets to ensure suppliers receive all purchase orders in a timely manner via order confirmation process Execute the efficient, accurate and prompt creation of purchase orders for new and existing materials based on standard work Identify areas of opportunity to improve order execution process and recommend solutions.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the supply chain procurement process in five main areas:
(1) data management, (2) data analytics, (3) supplier interface, (4) process improvement (5) standard work development Education Minimum Requirement:
Associate's Degree or higher in a business or technical discipline, including Supply Chain, Business Planning, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent required.
Required Experience and Skills:
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to break down complex problems into manageable pieces to arrive at efficient and sustainable solutions Capable of understanding beyond data and link to business outcomes Self-working and natural sense of urgency and drive to completion Highly organized, proactive, and problem-solving mindset Strong communication skills and ability to create and present information logically and effectively.
Working knowledge of Microsoft-based systems (Strong in MS Excel) to develop reports, measurements, presentations, and data analytics.
Able to effectively partner with functional areas outside your specific area of expertise Preferred Experience and Skills:
Ability to think End-to-End when analyzing problems and resolving project conflicts Willingness to be flexible and to work in a rapidly changing environment Demonstrated ability to align, lead and drive change activities across site cross functional teams towards a common goal.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
