Summary:
The Concierge provides prompt, efficient service to the guest by acting as an attendant and information source in the Concierge lounge or lobby.
Focuses on providing responsive, friendly service to the guests.
Core
Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between guests and hotel departments by making reservations and following up on special requests.
Maintain an information file on hotel and local services and attractions and recommend them to the guest, suggestively selling hotel amenities and services.
Clean Concierge lounge throughout the shift by picking up dirty dishes and glasses and maintaining the kitchenette, including cleaning of floors, furniture and surfaces.
Provide food and beverage services to the guest, ensuring food quality and presentation is appealing, and mixing drinks for guests, complying with applicable laws and responsible alcohol service.
Create local contacts and be aware of local area, including events happening in immediate and long term, to provide information to guests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
High work ethic and self-initiative Proven customer service skills, including ability to be resourceful and creative Regular attendance according to established guidelines May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property Focus and maintain attention to tasks, and complete work assignments on time despite frequent interruptions Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain staff and guest confidentiality at all times Physical Requirements:
Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods of time Bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning requirements Lift approximately twenty (20) pounds of equipment or supplies on and off a cart, using safe lifting techniques Push and pull carts weighing up to fifty (50) pounds Good communication skills, both written and verbal Job Type:
