The position will report to the GSK Director of U.S. Tax and Strategic Projects and support the Director of U.S. Tax Compliance and the Director of U.S. International Tax and Strategic Projects. This role will also work closely with both the ViiV Healthcare business and GSK's Global Tax team in developing the Group's tax strategy and manage the Group's ETR and tax risks. The role requires an individual with strong U.S. tax experience. The individual should be flexible, and able to multi-task and work on a variety of tax and finance projects. Key Responsibilities Include:
Partner with the ViiV Healthcare U.S. business and support ViiV Healthcare specific projects and manage ViiV Healthcare's U.S. tax matters Analyze and determine the tax implications of business development transactions, federal and state tax law changes, assist in evaluating and implementing tax planning strategies, and other ad hoc requests Assist in tax technical research regarding specific business transactions and other various ad hoc needs. This includes developing and writing technical memorandums Manage federal and state tax audits for GSK and ViiV Healthcare Company. Manage tax compliance functions with respect to GSK and ViiV Healthcare's U.S. federal and state & local income tax obligations. This includes managing the outsource provider of tax compliance and tax reporting Manage U.S. tax reporting requirements for U.S. international tax filings and computations, including the Foreign-derived Intangible Income Deduction and Federal Tax Credit, for GSK and ViiV Healthcare and collaboration partners Assist with coordinating all activities related to the tax accrual process, including the 10 month hard close and year-end provision process. This includes direct interaction with the central tax team, the management of external auditor's review and overseeing the outsource providers preparation Manage the responsibility of maintaining and reconciling GSK's tax accounts, monthly tax journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for interim as well as year-end reporting Minimize and control risk within the tax reporting & tax compliance functions Why you? Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance 5
years corporate tax experience in either a large accounting firm or large multinational corporation Strong technical knowledge in the tax/tax accounting/general accounting areas with extensive hands on experience with the tax return preparation, year- end reporting and external audit processes Preferred
Qualifications:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, TaxEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
