Associate Scientist (Analytical Chemistry)

Piper Health and Sciences is currently seeking an Associate Scientist (Analytical Chemistry) to support an innovative and reputable pharmaceutical company in Durham, NC.



Responsibilities for the Associate Scientist (Analytical Chemistry):


  • Support quality control through Karl Fisher moisture titration, pH release testing, and other Wet Chemistry techniques
  • Support commercial testing and release for vaccine development
  • Collect and analyze data, and write summary reports
  • Utilize GMP/GLP knowledge to review, revise, and rewrite SOPs


Technical Requirements for the Associate Scientist (Analytical Chemistry)


  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GMP/GLP laboratory environment
  • Previous experience utilizing analytical chemistry techniques (Karl Fischer, pH, UV-Vis) preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor of Science in related field


Compensation & Benefits for the Associate Scientist (Analytical Chemistry)


  • Compensation:
    $30-40 Per Hour
  • Contract (with strong possibility of extension or possible conversion)
