Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Credit and Collections Analyst who will play a vital role in managing our global collections efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in credit analysis, collections, and risk assessment across multiple geographies.
This role is crucial in ensuring timely payments, minimizing bad debt, and supporting the company's financial health.
Key
Responsibilities:
Global Collections:
Manage the end-to-end collections process for international clients, ensuring adherence to local regulations and cultural nuances.
Credit Analysis:
Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, making data-driven decisions on credit limits and payment terms.
Billing and Invoicing:
Collaborate with billing teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, resolving any billing discrepancies.
Customer Communication:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, disputes, and payment delays professionally and effectively.
Risk Mitigation:
Identify potential credit and collection risks, developing strategies to mitigate them and reduce bad debt exposure.
Reporting:
Generate regular reports on collections performance, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and other key metrics for management review.
Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve credit and collections processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
Legal Action:
Coordinate with legal teams as necessary for escalated collection cases, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, payment plans, and collection activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of 3
years of credit and collections experience, with a focus on global collections.
Strong knowledge of international credit and collections regulations and practices.
Proficiency in credit risk assessment and analysis.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with financial software and tools.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
